An evening of rich multilingual spoken word and storytelling from award-winning poets exploring identity, heritage and what it means to be part of the Asian diaspora.
Performers included 2017 Roundhouse Poetry Slam runner-up Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan, UK Entertainment Best Poet Award winner Shareefa Energy and Australian Poetry Slam Champion Zohab Zee Khan.
Zohab Khan was our host and main feature for the night. In his first full UK performance, Zohab took us on a poetic journey sprinkled with Urdu, Punjabi and heritage. Suhaiymah, Shareefa and Zohab have all made homes upon their pages and let roar their voices on the stage.
