Asia House Chairman Lord Green launches new book
Updated: Nov 18, 2019
Lord Stephen Green launched 'The Human Odyssey: East, West and the Search for Universal Values' at #AsiaLitFest with historian Tom Holland and economist Linda Yueh also contributing to the discussion.

Over the last 3 decades, the Eurasian land mass – which stretches from Ireland to Vladivostok - has experienced a period of extraordinary change, including the emergence of entire new cities, the spread of mobile telecommunications and the digital revolution.
Lord Stephen Green has travelled extensively through Eurasia during this time, and he has experienced many things which reflect the endless human search for beauty and worth, the numbing power of human evil, and the degradation of the environment. Now, in The Human Odyssey, he asks: where are we heading next?
The Human Odyssey is particularly relevant given the UK's current identity crisis, and as we pause to consider what the future will hold for our children and grandchildren.
